The Himalayas is the largest mountain range in Asia which separates the Indian subcontinent of South from the Plateau of Tibet. This mountain range consists of so many high peak mountains including the world’s highest peak mountain, Mount Everest. From a thousand years, the Himalayas have stood as the protector, significance of the people of South Asia. The Himalayas mountain range has been named by some of the pilgrim mountaineers of India. In Sanskrit, “Hima” means ice and “Alaya” means adobe. Throughout the years, the whole mountain range has been covered with snow all the time. For many years, the Himalayas have been turned into the greatest attraction and challenge for mountaineers throughout the world.
