Well, perhaps your dreams may come true because you can turn your attention to the so-called “fake Dragon Lore”. The AWP | Mortis is just such a nice skin with a really mesmerizing pattern that we don’t think it needs any improvement or stickers. This skin already looks pretty much like Dragon Lore, although the colors obviously aren’t the same. However, if you apply a bit of imagination, you can make it look like the original Dragon Lore.
How Could You Make a “Fake Dragon Lore” Out of Mortis?
If you follow these recommendations you can successfully craft a “fake Dragon Lore” from the awp mortis. What’s the secret? There are only two options: use the original D-Lore or use other skins to craft it from scratch. Obviously, you are not going to spend thousands of dollars on the purchase of the original skin, so you can use AWP | Mortis as the canvas. The Mortis already looks very similar, and what we would recommend is to craft a fake Battle-Scarred D-Lore. So, what you should do is get the Battle-Scarred AWP | Mortis skin, trying to find the AWP which has red, orange, and gold colors. This might take a bit of digging. You’re gonna have to take a look at all the available skins, but eventually, you will find something that is close to a Dragon Lore. Then, proceed to the next step.
Use your imagination and place Dragon Lore foil stickers on the number two or number one position of this skin. However, these stickers are pretty expensive, starting from around $13–$14. Just make sure that you have applied the sticker to the number two position, where that dragon should reside, and then you can go and show off your new “fake Dragon Lore”. You can also place these D-Lore foil stickers all over the skin to cover up all the spots that don’t necessarily resemble the original skin or don’t have the appropriate colors. We know that it is going to be rather expensive because each piece will cost you $14, but overall, this plan looks pretty appealing, as you can save yourself thousands of dollars instead.

The D-Lore foil sticker first appeared in the game in October 2019 within the CS20 Sticker Capsule. Its price fluctuates between $11–$14. The so-called “foil” creates a textured layer that resembles the metallic coating.
